This new and exciting house designed by Heini van Niekerk Architects for Gerhard & Anna-Marie Victor on the shore edge of Langebaan where simplicity has become the ultimate sophistication.

The opportunity as architect was to handle the complexity of a very narrow site where both the neighbours already occupied a zero meter building line to both sides of an almost 50 degree slope. Rather than shying away from it we realised that the big art of great design was to make complicated things simple whilst remaining focused on their lifestyle, comfort and privacy with breakout spaces to every floor.
