mean? South African Institute of Architects (SAIA)

The South African Institute of Architects and it’s Regions are committed to maintaining the highest
standards of professionalism, integrity and competence. Members of the Institute are registered
professional architects educated and trained to provide leadership, critical judgement, specialist
knowledge, skills and aptitude, for the design and development of the built environment. The Institutes
offer seminars and workshops that meet the requirements of CPD. Internationally, the South African
Institute of Architects is a member of the Africa Union of Architects, the Commonwealth Association
of Architects and the International Union of Architects. South African Architects are thereby linked into
the international community. This promotes South Africa’s contributions to the built environment on a
global scale.
